Produktinformation

Lino Flamé consists of durable linen and soft, elastic viscose. The linen in Flamé yarn is spun using a manual technique called "slub-spinning". This highlights the linen's natural fibres and results in an airy yarn. The blend is suitable for garments and other projects, as the viscose fibres make the yarn more elastic than pure linen yarn. Lino Flamé can be used as a carry-along thread or knitted with a double strand. It is excellent for a light summer blouse or summer top.
 
Linen is made from fibres from the stalks of the flax plant. Linen is both durable and temperature-regulating. Although it may seem a little stiff, it becomes softer and more beautiful after use and washing.
 
Viscose is made from regenerated cellulose fibres from, for example, cotton waste, wood, and other plant fibres with a high cellulose content. The cellulose is converted into a viscous pulp through a chemical process. Viscose has many good properties. Among other things, viscose is naturally shiny, drapes beautifully, and feels soft against the body.
