Beginner knitting class

We will cover the following:

• casting on
• knit and purl stitches
  
• casting off
• knitting knit and purl stitches to create textured patterns

No prior knowledge is required, only curiosity and a willingness to learn.

The course is held on two occasions:

Lesson 1: The first session covers all steps, and you will have time to cast on and knit a swatch. You will also get a small homework assignment that will be followed up at the second session.

Lesson 2: In the second session, we will catch up with those who need more help, and for those who have progressed a bit, we will give you new challenges.



The course also includes the book Sticka steg för steg (value SEK 259), with basics and various knitting techniques, as well as some patterns.

Bring:

• circular needle in any size, size 4-5 mm is good for beginners, a modern needle and not your grandmother's old inherited one
• yarn, preferably wool yarn 
suitable for needles 4-5 mm
  
• notebook and pen

If you lack yarn or needles, they are available for purchase at the course, preferably do so a day before so we are ready when the course begins.
