Knitting for beginners course, for anyone who wants to learn and practice the fundamentals of knitting.

We will make sure to assist you in English, as much as you need!

We will go through the following:

• yarn and needles, and how they match together
• two different methods for cast-on
• knit and purl
• make increases in yoke and raglan
• cast off
• knit and purl, and how to combine these for creating patterns.
  

No prior knowledge required - except your curiosity and will to learn!

The course is split in two occasions:
On the first occasion we go through all steps in knitting, and you are given time to cast-on and knit a small swatch. You will also be given a homework task which is followed up on the second occasion.

On the second occasion we will assist you if you need some more help, and when you have advanced further, we will give you new challenges.

The course fee includes the book Knit step by step (value SEK 259), covering the basics and various knitting techniques and some patterns.

Bring this with you:

• circular needles of any size, size 4 to 5 mm is good for a beginner - modern needles and not your grandma's old tools
• yarn, preferably natural wool suitable for 4 to 5 mm needles
  
• notebook and pen

In case you need something of this, yarn and needles are available for purchase at the course.

Location: The Lab by Tant Hulda on Stora Gråbrödersgatan 12, Lund (across the street from Tant Hulda shop)

Time: New dates will be announced Two lessons included, with 3 weeks in between. 6:30 pm to 9 pm on both occasions.

Price: SEK 9 50 per seat, coffee/tea and literature included.

The number of seats is limited and can only be purchased here in the web shop.
No reservation of seats on phone, email or in the physical shop.

Minimum age 15 years, or younger only with accompanying adult with their own seat.

Registration is binding and non-refundable.
