The Northland Sweater is knitted top down, first back and forth on the circular needle to shape the neckline, and then around on the circular needle. The yoke is constructed in such a way that shoulder increases are first knitted on the right and wrong side. Next, armhole increases are knitted, and finally a batch of classic raglan increases is knitted. Finally, the elastic edge of the neck is knitted based on stitches that are picked up. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double pointed needles or with Magic Loop technology. The Northland Sweater is assembly-free.

Knit a test patch to find the right stitch size that will give you the right stitch strength. Note that the swatch should be washed and blocked before measuring the knit strength, as the recommended yarn grows after washing.

Size guide

The Northland Sweater should have a range of movement of approx. 10 cm in relation to the recipient's bust measurement. The sizes S (M) L (XL) 2XL correspond to a bust measurement of around 90 (95) 100 (110) 120 cm. Measure the receiver with a tape measure before you start knitting, to judge which size fits best. For example, if he measures 100 cm around the chest, you should knit size L.
