West Yorkshire Spinners was founded in 1997 at the heart of the British wool spinning industry to preserve the region's rich textile history. The company was established during a time when many spinning mills closed due to increased imports of yarn from abroad. With a strong desire to maintain the knowledge and passion for textile manufacturing, they launched their own yarn in 2012 to celebrate British wool and its heritage. Through close collaboration with farmers and wool merchants, they have created unique and innovative products. Manufacturing takes place in Aire Valley, West Yorkshire, in a modern facility that combines traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology. They develop their own blends and colors, inspired by seasonal trends.
