The October Sweater is knitted from top to bottom in stocking stitch. First it is knitted back and forth to form the neckline, after which the work is brought together so that the rest of the yoke is knitted around on the circular needle with raglan increases. Sleeves and body are finished by wide elastic edges in double elastic. The elastic edge of the neck is knitted very last and folded double. October Sweater is an oversize model - go down a size if you want a less oversize fit.

Size guide

The October Sweater should have a range of motion ( positive ease) of approx. 30 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The fit is oversized. If a less oversize expression is desired, you can go down one size. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on the body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) ) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size fits you best. If you e.g. measures 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has an overall width of 120 cm and in the mentioned example will give a range of motion ( positive ease ) of 30 cm.

The model in the picture wears a size XS, has a bust measurement of 82 cm and is 164 cm tall.

Material: 250 (250-300) 300 (300) 350 (400) 450 (450-500) 500 g Tvinni from Isager Yarn (50 g = 255 m) knit together with 175 (175-200) 200 (200) 200- 225 (250) 275 (275-300) 300 g Silk Mohair from Isager Yarn (25 g = 212 m) or Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive (25 g = 225 m). Thin elastic thread (knitting elastic) to the neck channel.
