Produktinformation

Pentland was created as a complement to Number 2, our popular undyed 4 ply/Sport weight yarn. In order to match the special quality of Number 2, we carefully selected the yarn. When developing our worsted yarn blends, we found this special Romney lamb's wool. It is taken in the first shearing at about 6-8 months of age, and these short, silky yarn fibers work very well for spinning.

Pentland was designed as a companion to Number 2, our ever-popular undyed 4ply/Sport weight.

To be able to match the specialty of Number 2, we needed to source some special fibre. Whilst developing our worsted-spun blends, we stumbled across this delicious Romney lambswool. Produced from the first clip at around 6-8 months old, these short, silky fibers are a treat for woolen spinning.
