The Stockholm hat is a thick and warm hat, which is inspired by the fashion in Stockholm. The Stockholm hat is knitted in two strands of merino wool and one strand of silk mohair, from the bottom up in elastic knitting. In order to achieve a nice and tight elastic knitting even when in use, the size of the cap is adjusted with an internal elastic thread. This also ensures a good fit. The hat must be worn so that it has a peak on the head.

Dimensions: Fits a head circumference of 54 – 60 cm

Knitting tension: 28 stitches x 27 rounds in rib knitting (1 row, 1 purl) on needles 4 mm = 10 x 10 cm

Knitting suggestions: Circular needle 4 mm (40 cm), double pointed needles 4 mm

Materials: 100 g Sunday from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m) or Arwetta from Filcolana (50 g = 210 m) together with 25 g Thin Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn (25 g = 212 m) or Tilia from Filcolana (25 g = 210), thin elastic wire
